WE ARE 166
Royal Canadian Air Cadets is a Canadian national youth program for persons aged 12 to 18. Under the authority of the National Defense Act, the program is administered by the Canadian Armed Forces and funded through both the Air Cadet League of Canada and the Department of National Defense.
Located in the City of Toronto at Canadian Armed Forces Dalton Armoury, 166 Bulldog Squadron parades on Thursday nights at 1830.

About Us
Welcome to one of the premier youth programs in Canada. With nearly 75 years of rich history, tradition, and tens of thousands of Air Cadet graduates, you are truly in for the flight of your life. Air Cadets is a program geared to youth between the ages of 12 and 18. While the Air in our program will give you the excitement of flying a glider or airplane, we have plenty of other fun, rewarding, and challenging opportunities waiting for your participation.
Who are we?
What is the Cadet Program?
The Cadet Program is the largest federally sponsored youth development program in Canada.
It is made up of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, Royal Canadian Army Cadets, and Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
What does the Cadet Program offer?
The Cadet Program provides youth with opportunities to develop valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership, and public speaking, along with personal benefits of increased self-confidence, discipline, initiative, and decision making.
What do Air Cadets learn?
In addition to the core aspects of the tri-element Cadet Program, Air Cadets focus on aviation topics such as principles of flight, navigation, radio communication, meteorology, and aerodrome operation.
Our Squadron also operates a large number of extra-curricular activities such as a military band, precision drill team, air rifle marksmanship team, pilot training, and much more.
